There’s nothing like winning a coveted Melbourne Royal blue ribbon and the excitement is building for the 2022 Melbourne Royal Show as entries begin to open for many of the prestigious and much-loved agricultural and leisure competitions. The 2022 Show is being held at Melbourne Showgrounds from 22 September to 2 October.

Membership is now open for the year ending 31 March 2023.

Victoria’s best young sheep and cattle experts are ready for the Australian championships, thanks to Melbourne Royal’s Emerging Leaders Group.

Melbourne Royal has a number of Competitions Committees and Industry Advisory Groups who provide support and expert advice across the Melbourne Royal Show competitions and Melbourne Royal food and beverage award programs.

I am pleased to advise that the Federal Minister for Agriculture, the Hon. David Littleproud MP announced on Friday 11 March that the Morrison-Joyce Government is providing $3.2 million to the Melbourne Royal Show under Round 2 of the Supporting Agricultural Shows and Field Days program to support costs incurred from the cancelled 2021 event.
