The 2021 Australian Food Awards garlic judging has been cancelled
Recognising the widespread and continued impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Melbourne Royal® has made the difficult decision to cancel the judging of the 2021 Australian Food Awards (AFA) garlic competition.
With much uncertainty remaining around the conduction of indoor events and travel throughout the state, Melbourne Royal® believes that cancelling the 2021 garlic judging is disappointing, but the appropriate decision.
We recognise this will disappoint many garlic producers throughout Australia but trust you will understand the decision was made in the best interests of ensuring the health and safety of the judges, stewards and staff.
The 2020 AFA garlic competition, conducted earlier this year, was supported by 17 exhibitors who entered 32 garlic and we thank you all for your support of the event.
We are forever grateful for the support of all exhibitors, stewards, judges and sponsors that have supported the AFA and we will keep you informed as we continue to plan for delivering the AFA in a Covid normal landscape.
For any questions, please email email@example.com and one of the competition managers will respond as soon as possible.
We hope that you all have a successful harvest period and enjoy the company of family and friends throughout the festive season.
