Even though we can’t host the Australian International Beer Awards Presentation Event on Thursday as planned, we’d still love to see you!
We are hosting the AIBA 2020 Isolation Edition instead, a special virtual brewers choice awards night to celebrate the Australian beer industry in iso, as part of the Good Beer Week Virtual Festival.
The following awards will be announced:
- Brewer’s Choice Best Champion Australian Brewery since 2012
- Brewer’s Choice Best Champion Australian Beer since 2012
- Brewer’s Choice Best AIBA Collab Beer since 2012
- Brewer’s Choice Best Champion IPA since 2012
- Brewer’s Choice Best Champion Lager since 2012
- Brewer’s Choice Best Champion Pale Ale since 2012
- Brewer’s Choice Best Champion Dark Beer since 2012
- Brewer’s Choice Best Champion Euro Style Beer since 2012
- Brewer’s Choice Best Champion Other Specialty Beer since 2012
- Brewer’s Choice Best Champion Design since 2012
- Best Beer Name
- Best Brewery Social Media
- Best Covid-19 Brand Pivot
- Brewer’s Choice Best Industry Personality
Voting has now closed.
We look forward to seeing you dressed in your finest to share a few beers when the winners are announced on Thursday night. Winners will be invited onto the live stream to accept their win.
AIBA Isolation Edition host Kirrily Waldhorn will be share the event's MC duties with Miro Bellini.

Date: Thursday 21 May
Time: 8.00pm - 9.00pm AEST
Dress: Dress from the waist up as if you're going to the AIBA dinner. Post your dressed-up selfies to Instagram using the hashtag #AIBAisoedition.
