FutureAg 2025 Strengthens Global Agricultural Connections at Melbourne Showgrounds

Melbourne Showgrounds was proud to host the second edition of FutureAg powered by AGRITECHNICA from 12–14 August 2025, welcoming thousands of visitors, exhibitors and industry leaders to Australia’s largest showcase of agricultural machinery and future farming.

The three-day event brought together 138 exhibitors from 11 countries, 69 speakers, and attracted over 2,500 visits from across Victoria, interstate and 27 countries worldwide.

Melbourne Showgrounds provided the ideal setting for this international gathering, with its expansive indoor and outdoor spaces accommodating live technology demonstrations, international showcases, conference sessions and dedicated feature zones.

New additions in 2025 included the AusAgritech Pavilion and Grain Automate Alley, two specialist areas focused on emerging technologies and innovations shaping the future of Australian agriculture. The event also featured a strong education focus, with five leading Australian universities participating through exhibitions and student engagement opportunities to help build the next generation of agricultural professionals.

For the first time, FutureAg introduced a Hosted Buyer Program, designed to connect Australian agrileaders and farmers directly with exhibitors, speakers and global networks. This initiative enhanced collaboration and networking across the industry, fostering opportunities for knowledge exchange and business growth.

The co-located conference further expanded the program, with sessions covering innovation, workforce development and the business of agriculture, providing attendees with valuable insights and practical strategies to apply to their own operations.

FutureAg 2025 reinforced its reputation as a platform where domestic producers, innovators and agribusinesses connect with international advancements. Melbourne Showgrounds was proud to support this important industry event, which continues to highlight the role of innovation, collaboration and education in driving the future of farming.

Planning is already underway for the next edition, with FutureAg 2026 confirmed to return to Melbourne Showgrounds from 29–31 July 2026.
