The Louis Monod Memorial Trophy

Awarded to the exhibitor with the best 2-year-old Ayrshire Heifer. Louis Monod OBE was secretary and chief executive officer of RASV from 1932 to 1953. He was the secretary of more than 35 organisation relating to agricultural animals. This trophy was first presented in 1926 when Monod (1893-1956) was a relatively young 37.
