What are the veterinary entry prerequisites?

All exhibits must be tested for Pestivirus (Bovine Viral Diarrhoea Virus) and certified as non PI (Persistently Infected). Exhibitors must provide a signed veterinary certificate or laboratory report, listing animals and their identification upon entry.

What is the feature breed?

The feature breed for the 2022 Melbourne Royal Beef Cattle Competition is the Australian Lowline.

When will the schedule be available online?

The schedule will be available online when entries open in June 2022.

When do entries open and close?

Entries open for the 2022 Melbourne Royal Beef Cattle Competition on Friday 3 June 2022.

Entries close Friday 29 July 2022.
