The Australian International Spirits Awards presentation was held at Melbourne Showgrounds on Monday 27 July, welcoming more than 300 guests for an evening celebrating excellence across Australia’s spirits and distilling industry. The 2026 awards were the biggest ever, with more than 1,100 entries received from Australia and around the globe. Congratulations to all of this year’s winners and finalists on an outstanding achievement and to everyone who contributed to making this year’s awards such a memorable celebration.

The past month has once again showcased the incredible diversity of events that make Melbourne Showgrounds one of Victoria's busiest and most dynamic event destinations. From major trade exhibitions and live entertainment to internationally recognised food and beverage awards, our precinct continues to bring together industry, innovation and community.

The Australian International Spirits Awards continues to grow in profile and reputation, with 2026 marking the introduction of international entries to the competition. We are excited to welcome exhibitors from across the globe, with entries already received from 20 international exhibitors, including producers from destinations as unique as the Cook Islands.
