Perfectly presented cakes, painstakingly crafted crochets, and finessed fine arts will all be on display alongside an expected 4000 entries in the state’s biggest exhibition of creativity at the Melbourne Royal Show in September.

The Melbourne Royal Show is set to host thousands of enthusiastic canines and their proud owners competing for a prestigious blue ribbon with over 3000 entries anticipated for Australia's premier event among dog breeders.

The countdown to the 2024 Melbourne Royal Show has commenced! There are now less than 100 days until the opening day on Thursday 26 September and considerable planning has gone into maximising the appeal and success for all involved. I thank our members serving on our Agriculture and Leisure Section Committees who generously volunteer their valuable time to assist us develop and deliver quality competitions and provide us with wonderful support and advice.

Melbourne Royal’s Event Management team, Melbourne Royal Experiences, has been honoured with the prestigious In-House Events Management Team of the Year (Corporate) award at the Meetings & Events Australia (MEA) National Awards.

On Monday, 20 May, the Melbourne Royal Board visited Ballarat for a Regional Board meeting, which included tours of two distinguished local businesses, Dollar Bill Brewing and Inglenook Dairy. The directors and senior managers were treated to a comprehensive overview of the history and operations of these Melbourne Royal Food & Beverage award-winning enterprises.
