The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV) are proud to assist with the the Delivered Live Streaming Festival, through the involvement of the RASV Recharge Program.
Recharge Program is an innovative initiative, endorsed by the Minister for Agriculture, that provides relief to drought and bushfire affected communities and aims to helps build resilience in our farming communities.
Regional communities are some of the most vibrant and resilient in Australia. However, if you live in regional, rural or remote areas, you are less likely to have access to support services and professionals that can provide help and support when times are tough.
I write to you all in what are challenging and extraordinary times for all of us, including The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV).
The RASV has a proud history of celebrating agriculture, cultivating events and strengthening communities and much of what we do has been put on-hold as we deal with the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Due to the ongoing health warning regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19), The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV) has made the difficult decision to postpone the judging of the 2020 Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA).
The AIBA was scheduled to commence judging at Melbourne Showgrounds on Wednesday 13 May, concluding on Friday 15 May.
The ADSA was scheduled to commence judging at Melbourne Showgrounds on Tuesday 24 March, concluding the following afternoon.
Brad Jenkins, Chief Executive Officer, The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria said the health and wellbeing of those involved is our highest priority.
“The health of our judges, stewards and staff is our highest priority and in the current climate regarding the COVID-19 outbreak we believe that postponing the event to a later date is the best option” said Mr Jenkins.
